Couple of technical details. The songs are made in Suno, which is the best AI song generator I’ve used (and I’ve tried various others, including Google’s latest, but their results aren’t as entertaining on the whole). As often the case with generative AI, the human skill is in the curation more than the creation, so listening to a bunch of alternatives and picking which work the best probably takes the most time overall.

You may wonder about copyright issues here. This can legally be done with Presidential tweets/’Truths’ because of the ruling made during Trump’s first term of office that his Presential social postings are official records which are therefore public domain. The music, being AI-generated, is also not subject to copyright as it’s not sufficiently original in terms of human effort.

So these pieces are basically public domain too. Use them wherever you like if you want to, and have fun!

And if you’re wondering how long I’m likely to keep up posting them, I don’t know. They take about as long to make every day as keeping up my Duolingo streak, and they’ve slotted into a daily rhythm the same way that does, so I guess an upper limit is how long I’ve kept that going.
